One of the 6 original homes built in Biltmore Forest when it was first developed in the 1920′s. Rich in history, we tried to bring as much of that history as possible to this video. This is the Judge Junius G. Adams home sitting on 5.5 acres overlooking the golf course at the Biltmore Forest Country Club. Judge Adams was a founding member of the Biltmore Company with Edith Vanderbilt and very involved in the Biltmore Estate up until 1950. This home was designed by Asheville architect Charles Parker, who’s most notiable building is the Grove Arcade.
The home was added to the National Register of Historic Places by the current owners, the Coleman family, in 2001. Besides the rich history, some of my favorite aspects of the estate include the concrete lions and the greenhouse housing a heated pool. An extremely beautiful estate… we hope you enjoy this video.
